Una playa de arena poco profunda formada entre Hersonissos de Gramvousa y el pequeño cabo Tigani. Balos es conocido por sus aguas turquesas, su belleza natural salvaje y su magnífico paisaje. La laguna de Balos tiene arena blanca y aguas de color azul verdoso profundo con aguas cálidas y poco profundas. En otros lugares, la arena tiene un hermoso color rosa resultado de las conchas trituradas. Detrás de las rocas, las aguas más profundas y frías la hacen ideal para hacer snorkel.
